Overview
In December 2024, Netflix India brought the global phenomenon Squid Game to life with a bold, immersive brand activation at Sunburn Goa, Asia’s biggest music festival. The campaign was designed to promote Season 2 of Squid Game, merging pop culture with live festival energy in one of India’s most high-profile youth-centric environments.
Mainstage Bros was brought on board to capture the visual essence of the activation through event photography, delivering high-impact imagery that showcased the brand’s creative execution and audience engagement.
Our Role
Working closely with the Netflix India campaign team, our job was to visually document the campaign in action — across all interactive zones, crowd reactions, and festival-wide visibility.
We focused on:
- Candid moments of audience participation with Squid Game-themed setups
- Environmental shots showing the scale of the activation amidst Sunburn’s chaos
- Branded installations, costumed characters & visual props
- Behind-the-scenes documentation for internal and press use
- Clean brand-forward framing suitable for both organic and PR-ready assets
